Meet Tegan!

Tegan is graduating this year from Stargate High School in Thornton, Colorado. My son graduated from Stargate last year. It is an excellent school and I’m so lucky to get to photograph lots of the seniors every year.

Tegan is an extremely talented softball player and will be playing for Colorado Mesa University in the fall.

We decided to photograph Tegan’s senior photos at the gorgeous Chautauqua Park in Boulder, Colorado. I always get a permit for this location because it’s one of the most stunning places in Colorado.

If you time it correctly, there is this perfect little stone structure in front of the restaurant that always has beautiful light for my subjects.

In the summer and early fall the flowers on the premises at Chautauqua are just stunning.

Final Part of this Senior Photoshoot – the LIGHTS!

As the sun starts to set behind the Flatirons, it’s time to bring out my favorite light – the Profoto B10.
