A Stargate High Senior Photoshoot at Purple Park

Meet Kayla!
Kayla is a senior at Stargate High School this year. I have known her family for many years now and I got to do her older brother’s senior pictures too. In fact, below are a few of Ryan from his senior shoot at Purple Park in Superior.
While Kayla picked Purple Park for her shoot, none of us were aware of the extensive road construction underway on Rock Creek Parkway. When we arrived for her shoot, we realized that we couldn’t access parking lot so we decided to explore a different part of the park. And I’m so glad we did! I found another beautiful area to do senior pictures!
And, of course, I had to get a photograph of Kayla and her mom, Jen. Jen is the After Prom Organizing Queen at Stargate. We could not do it without her!
And then the rain started… So we packed it up and decided to finish off her shoot another night. We also used this time to figure out how to access the park of the area that I’m more familiar with for our Part 2 of Kayla’s senior photoshoot.
I always bring a stack of cute hats to my senior shoots. Kayla wasn’t totally convinced that she would like the hat look but Jen and I knew it would look cute. And we were not disappointed.

As always, we wrapped up Kayla’s shoot be doing some OCF work as the sun went down behind us.
