A Senior Photoshoot in Downtown Louisville, Colorado

Meet Camille!
If you can believe it, I met Camille when she was still in preschool. I had just started my photography business and moved my daughter, Lila, into the Goddard Preschool near our house. And that’s where I met one of my best friends, Julie, and her beautiful daughter.
I also photographed her older daughter’s senior pictures a few years ago. As you can imagine, I was super excited to work with Camille. And she picked a new location for me – downtown Louisville. It ended up being a super cute location with so much variety.
We both loved the vintage look of this sign outside the Empire Lounge.
The weather was a little windy this day. But Camille had great curls and the wind worked in her favor so much. This little black dress was perfection.
Downtown Louisville has so many cute stores with different colored walls, doorways, and beautiful red brick on so many of the buildings.
And, of course, I had to grab a few photos of Camille and Julie together. I just adore both of them!
Final Part of this Senior Photoshoot – OCF with a Profoto B10!
From downtown, you can drive about 5 minutes to the Davidson Mesa Trailhead. I had also never shot here before. We had super dramatic skies this evening which were perfect for some OCF work.
