I can’t tell you how excited I was when Lainie’s mom, Jennifer, called me to book her senior session. I’ve been friends with Jennifer since junior high school in Boulder (maybe even elementary but my memories are getting fuzzy). I knew she had a stunning daughter but I wasn’t sure how old she was. Turns out she was a senior in high school!

So Jennifer and Lainie drove up to Thornton from Grand Junction and we started her session off with hair and make-up with Kylie. As always, Kylie did a flawless job.

Lainie’s outfits were absolutely perfect for her and we added in the cute hat because she just looks so good in hats.

We shot in basically my backyard and then headed over to East Lake which is such a cute area.

And, of course, I got one with both of them together.

As with most of my shoots, we wrapped it up by dragging out the OCF lighting. I’m nuts about Profoto’s B10 and B10+ lights. And Jennifer was amazing at walking backward holding the light on Lainie while Lainie walked toward me. It’s not easy, folks, but it’s so worth it!
